The Holy Quran
What is the Holy Quran?
The Holy Quran is the Last and Final Word of God Almighty and a message to all mankind. It is a collection of 114 chapters or surahs that were revealed to Prophet Muhammad by revelation through the Archangel Gabriel over a period of 23 years.
Holy Quran; Surah 04; Verse 163:
163: We have sent thee inspiration as We sent it to Noah and the Messengers after him; We sent inspiration to Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, to Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon, and to David We gave the Psalms.
Holy Quran; Surah 42; Verses 51-52:
51: It is not fitting for a man that God should speak to him except by inspiration, or from behind a veil, or by the sending of a Messenger to reveal, with God’s permission, what God wills: for He is Most High Most Wise.
52: And thus have We by Our command sent inspiration to thee: thou knewest not (before) what was Revelation and what was Faith; but We have made the (Quran) a Light wherewith We guide such of Our servants as We will; and verily thou dost guide (men) to the Straight Way.
The Holy Quran further reveals:
Holy Quran; Surah 56; Verses 77-80:
77: That this is indeed a Quran most honorable,
78: In a Book well-guarded,
79: Which none shall touch but those who are clean:
80: A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds.
It is the duty of every Muslim and non-Muslim; man, woman, and child, to read The Holy Quran and try to understand it in their own capacity.
